post5.JPGBloggers from a broadband of the social spectrum in a show of unity expressed their support, through an Internet blitz, to confront climate change and environmental problems we are currently facing. Organizers of the Blog Action Day reported that 15,800 sites joined and offered ideas how people can help save the environment.

The aim of the event is to get people thinking and considering a better future. The blogs showed a new sign of concern for the environment and reflected the sentiments of a lot of people towards environmental problems and how they affect Mother Earth. According to Stavros Dimas, EU Environment Commissioner, the level of environmental awareness varies for countries but there is a rising trends towards an increased awareness globally.
